Souvenir Foto School: Day 20 - G for Gradation of Color

My plan this whole month was to photograph something gold for my letter "G" assignment for Souvenir Foto School. But today I awoke to yet another grey and gloomy morning, so I decided instead that I would bring a little brightness into my day with some pretty paint colors. I don't know what it is about melon-hued colors that I love so much, but I really just can't seem to get enough. xo Ez

I am a sucker for photos of envelopes and stationery, so I love this one! And I love the colors too and the little painting you did. Really creative styling to add the paint to the picture of the envelope!
I think these are so lovely! I've been looking for the "perfect" stationery... but I think you just inspired me to create my own! Love the melon colors, too!

MMMMMMMMmmmm! These images just send my over the top with happieness! LOVE this palette, Ez! I'm with you on the whole melon/pinky scheme lately. Maybe it's like a friend of mine from my days in art school who would come up with the loveliest palettes? When asked how she came up with her color choices she said that she knows it's the right color when she wants to eat it. I think that could easily apply here. :)

Beautiful melon hues. I know you say with your gray days that the lighting has been off, but one of the main reason I love this series from you is all the soft light in your photos! Beautiful one again.
