Souvenir Foto School: Day One - P for Plates
Day One - P for Plates
Hi lovelies! As I mentioned here on CC last week, I signed up to be a part of the Souvenir Foto School for the month of February. The daily challenge is for this session's members to use the alphabet as our guide, using a different letter for each day (not necessarily in order)...and a theme (whatever you want) is highly recommended. So I'll be sharing an image a day for the entirety of this month. I hope you don't mind indulging me. My hope is to learn new things, challenge myself, and of course have fun in the process.
Anyhow, here we are at day one! It took me ages to decide on a theme to use, but today I finally settled on a duel one: "Possessed" (possessions I own and/or feelings that possess me) shared in diptych form (two images juxtaposed alongside one another). Of course as a member of the class itself I'll get lots of helpful tips and advice to go along with each image, but if you'd like to try your own month-long photo challenge (sans class), then by all means I hope you will. I'd love to see what you come up with. xo Ez
You can also find my images in individual and diptych form for this class over in my flickr album. | Souvenir Foto School is offered by Besotted Brand.

Great Pictures! Although I don´t think you needed a Foto School to begin with, I love all your photos.
NIce Photos, love the gold plate. Until today I open your blog, last days I was wondering if you were going to post ALT business cards.I am crazy about business cards so I have seen some of my fav blogs (looking for this post Alt buissness cards), let me tell you they way you curate them is amazing. I know most of them are awesome but the way you did your composition make them look even better.
Once more I love your blog an if one day you have a chance to see mine, you will make my day.
Buen Día Val
Ps. (sorry for my english grammmar in all my coments)
I am doing a 365 photo a day project, but I am loving the inspiration of using the alphabet. Very cool. Your photos are always lovely! Good job- you can only get better!

I missed out on taking the foto school by a half hour - totally heartbroken. So glad I can experience by proxy through your wonderful photos. Love the one on the right - the white space is perfect.
Have fun with the class!
I admire your photos. I have missed this opportunity:( I would like to be join another time. This is a great way to improve my photography..
Enjoy your class!
Those plates are so totally beautiful. The Foto School sounds fun, looking forward to seeing more!
Love the idea, love the photography ^^
Another example of getting lost in blogs... One blog lead to another and then lead to yours. I was admiring your photos and ACKKKKKK!
I have been looking for that gold filagree saucer!!! I found the saucerless teacup in a thrift shop and fell in love. I only know that it is Colclough but no markings or pattern name to assist my search.
I would be so grateful if you could let me know of any markings on the saucer to help my search. And if you are ever willing to part with that little saucer, please let me know.
I feel like we may be cup and saucer soul mates!
Hi Catherine! I'm afraid I don't have much more information than you do. The bottom of my dish says: Colclough | Genuine Bone China | Made in England. I did a quick search online and it looks like there might be matching pieces available through sites like Ebay. Good luck to you!
