High + Low: The Gold Skirt
With the holiday season upon us, and gatherings at what seems to be every corner, I'm sure some of you are on the search for the perfect festive threads. Adding a little sparkle is fitting for this time of year, but I'm not as glitzy as some of the lovely sequin offerings I see in stores. A good alternative? Metallics. They're just enough shimmer and less of a hassle. I love this golden Diane von Furstenberg skirt, but the price (and the length at only 14") certainly gave me pause. Good thing it only needed to serve as inspiration for my low finds!

Love these. I also love sparkle around the holidays but find sequins to be kind of a hassle. So these skirts are perfect!
i am loving the 1st "low" option! i never would have thought to wear a gold skirt... but these are super cute and look like they can be dressed up or down easily!
Oh I love this! I wore a little gold skirt last year for my (hot Australian) Christmas, but it was too tight. Not good for Christmas lunch. These are much cuter.
