High + Low: The Ankle Bootie
This is the time of year when the great search for boots is in full force. To limit problems with fit, the ankie bootie is the answer I was searching for. Whether a pair of skinny cords or a shift dress, these could be your new best friend for fall. Of course, a gorgeous pair of Rachel Comey Mars Boots would be at the top of my wishlist, but the price tag easily scared me off. I don't object to paying for a good pair of shoes, but sometimes, saving a little cash doesn't hurt!

just clicked over to the Land's End bootie link and they have a 40% off plus free shipping going at the moment. So it's even cheaper than you thought, super excited!!
And it seems the deal ends today! Hopefully anyone who wants them can snatch a pair up soon.
I can't decide whether I like the ankle bootie. My first reaction is to reject it but then I saw Quinn pairing it with skirts on Glee and I liked the look. Some times you just have to see it with the complete outfit.
These are so lovely although I would love to see this in a black or a dark-brown version
I'm also dying to get a pair of Rachel Comey, but let's face it, my wallet won't allow it for now... I did not Madwell boots. Those are also appealing!
