From Wares to Wear: Make this Painting into an Outfit

I cannot stop staring at this exquisite Blue Owl painting by artist Michelle Morin of Unitedthread (this original painting is mind-boggling too - actually all of her work is) so I decided the next best thing to owning it (which I might still need to do) would be to use it to inspire a wares to wear post. Woohoo!

I imagine this to be the perfect outfit for an evening out (ideal for a night owl - harhar). To keep things from looking too stiff, I'd wear the blouse with the sleeves partially rolled up (I might even cuff the pants), would slip the gold bangles on my wrist, and would then finish the whole look off with some jet black mascara and sheer gloss on my lips. What do you think? Do you have a favorite painting or home decor item that you'd love to see made into an outfit? I'd love to see! You can find my first two Wares to Wear posts. xo Ez
