A Day at the National Stationery Show
Photos from the following booths: Smock Paper | Sweet Bella | Tokyo Milk
Hi sweets! As you know I just returned from my trip to the National Stationery Show, and I'm just buzzing with excitement to share some of the old and new favorites that I discovered! Before I get started with the link love though, I have to say two things:
1. If you met me in your booth at the Show and I answered your question "Where are you from?" with the exuberant reply: "Oklahoma!!!" I now understand that you were asking what site I was from, and not where I live! (majorly embarrassed, face-palm action going on over here).
2. As soon as I clapped eyes on the very first pretty paper goods booth, all planning and sensible thought flew out the window and I ended up completely missing some of the booths I was most excited about (I'm sorry Anna). That and I only remembered to take photos for the first 5 minutes (argh). Dork x 1000. Next time I will be better prepared for sure.
Phew...now that we got that out of the way...here are some of my favorites from the show:
My friend SusyJack* introduced her gorgeous new line. A-may-zing! These goodies are now available for sale in her shop:
Linda & Harriett - Fresh watercolor print and letterpress designs (the watercolor effect was my favorite trend this season):
Banquet - Love everything from these guys, from their art prints to their new line of wrapping paper and greeting cards:
Fig.2 Design Studio - Gorgeous pops of neon letterpressed goodness:
Ink + Wit - Loved everything...especially the sweet stamp sets:
More awesome vendors I met (in random order):
Chewing the Cud | Fugu Fugu Press | Mr. Boddington's Studio | Dauphine Press | Meri Meri | Smudge Ink | Dear Hancock | Wild Ink Press | Urubbu | Klugworld | Fawnsberg | May Day Studio | Gold Teeth Brooklyn | J.Falkner | Screech Owl Design | Pistachio Press | The Great Lakes Goods | Igloo Letterpress | Fomato Cards | Favorite Design | Old School Stationers | Gilah Press + Design | La Familia Green | Carolyn Suzuki Goods | Mara Mi | Two Trick Pony | Artistry Cards
I hope you liked my little roundup from the show and will have fun discovering new paper goodies via the collection of links above. xo Ez

Beautiful post. One can tell you put your time, effort and love into it.
Awesome, awesome pix and picks, Ez!! I'm in absolute love with Susy's new line. Wish I could have walked the show with you! ;)
Great post! And you are too funny! I would have totally said the same thing... except said "San Francisco!
" ;)
so much inspiration and beauty!
Oh Wow. Thank you Ez! For both the feature, and your friendship. : )
It was a huge treat to see you at the show. I have to say, this year, the absolute best thing was seeing so many people, and feeling so much support from people who love independent designers. Truly, it means a lot, and I hope you know just how much your blog, your encouragement and enthusiasm mean.
However, I think I may have to quit designing, though...now that I have seen that floral by Banquet. Good god, it's gorgeous!!!!
Anyway...I'm so happy you liked the items- and I hope to make many, many more as time goes on!

Aww...thank you guys for your sweet comments! You all made my day! xo Ez
This is all SO gorgeous! I think if I had gone to this show I would have fainted from sheer exhilaration.
This is my 5th year attending the show and I still have to remind myself to keep taking photos! It's a bit overwhelming taking in all the eye candy and chatting with awesome designers, isn't it?
I never knew such a thing existed. I would be like a kid in a candy store! Everything looks so beautiful and I especially love the bird stamps.
I have always wanted to go to this! Thanks for all the lovely links-Tokyo Milk is one of my favorites and I am excited to check out the rest!
Really love the pictures from Sweet Bella. What a lovely display! So many original designs. Hoping I can make it out to this show one year. :)
OMG I love stationery, in fact I love it too much!
my oh my, what beautiful inspirations! I can see why all careful plans went out the window. I'd have done the same - where to look first!? Those Suzy Jack turquoise ikat style notebooks - love! And the magnet clips - more love! Also the neon cards by Design Studio.. in fact pretty much all of them rock.
Wow, so many cute stationery to choose from!
Love this! Thanks for including us, Ez. And I LOVE reading about your excitement at the show, it's my favorite time of the year. This brought a smile to my face. xoxo

The show looks like it was a stationery heaven! Thanks for sharing a little bit of it with us, I'm just sorry we don't really have anything like this in Ireland.
ha-- sort of like me at Alt when someone asked what my twitter handle was and I had no idea! Thanks for this gorgeous roundup. I think I might implode from all the beauty if I went in person! xo
I Love keeping up to date with your posts!..Just wanted to thank you for a great blog!
