Inspiration Resource: Retro Villa Vintage Wallpaper Collection
When I came across the Scandinavian website Retro Villa last week, I was immediate struck by the large collection of vintage wallpaper that shop owner Mette Helena Rasmussen carries (Retro Villa actually hosts Scandinavia's largest selection of original retro wallpapers). Of course it would be a blast to purchase a bunch of the rolls, but since I don't believe that shipping is available here to The States, I thought that the next best thing would be to share their amazing selection as a design inspiration resource. Of course you can't take and use the wallpaper images as they are, but there are so many fun patterns and colors to browse through, you can't help but feel inspired. Maybe it will be a fun resource for you for the next time you're stuck on a creative project. I know it will be for me. xo Ez

So pretty! My friend Brittany from the House That Lars Built first told me about this place. She lives in Copenhagen, so she can go there/order from there. Lucky!

I'm catching up on my blog reading and got so excited when I saw this post! This shop is just down the street from us! We actually featured it in our Shop 52 project. I was happy to pop over to their site and see that they are using my husband's photo of their sign! It's the little things, right? Here's a link if you want to see more from our perspective: http://travelingmama.net/?p=6539 Thanks so much for letting others know about this shop! Copenhagen is a real passion for us and since moving here almost a year ago we have had a steady dose of inspiration! It's an amazing city and the people are truly inspiring!
