Succulent
Photos by me.
One of the things I love about the city of Tulsa, is how many beautiful spaces the government maintains and makes open to the public (simply for the cultural value). One such place that I've recently fallen in love with are the Greenhouses behind the Tulsa Historical Society. It's misty and a bit humid in there, but tucked inside there are all sorts of beautiful plants to discover (and photograph). One of my favorite snapshots (of the two visits I've made to the greenhouses) is of this succulent (above). I'm not sure what the actual variety is...but I love how the image somehow came out looking so soft, instead of pokey like the plant itself.
And here's one more capture from the greenhouse (while where on a kind of aqua-blueish kick). I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for coming by today! xo Ez

just made my day brighter :)
this is beautiful! So cool
it makes me happy to find blogs written by people who are from OK. It always feels like the internet is dominated by people who live in NY or california, so it's refreshing to see that we have creative wonderful people here in Tulsa too! Long time reader, first time commenter( I think).
These are so delicate and gorgeous! They're the perfect muse for this early spring afternoon.
