Sanna Annukka Art Print
Hi sweets! I hope your Wednesday has started out brilliantly. I've been a fan of Sanna Annukka's artwork for a while, but just rediscovered her talents last night while browsing through some of my old bookmarks. Her Archipelago Print is especially wonderful (her wooden birds are amazing too)! Just look at all that fabulous detail work!
And a fun site note about Sanna's work - I recently received a little parcel of goodies from my friend Jutta (who was a part of Gifted Magazine), in which she included the most lovely bag of Marianne sweets.

Of course I immediately went gaga over the packaging and wondered who had illustrated it. It turns out the design is by none other than Sanna Annukka (I only just now figured that out after visiting Sanna's blog). How fun! I love when little snippets from life interweave like that. Don't you?! See more of Sanna's work on her website/shop and her blog.

Mariannes are my favorite Finnish treat- mint chocolatey goodness! So cool that she's the designer...
I love her work. I'm slightly addicted to her Kanteleen kutsu print. :) Did you know that all the little pictures on the Marianne candy bag symbolize something. The house = the heart of the home, the rainbow = luck and success, the bird is the Marianne bird that brings happiness etc.
Glad to hear you liked the sweets! :)
I have to get me a package LOL
just come back from Finland & in my luggage these same delicious Marianne ! the blend of chocolate & mit is awesome. Finland cannot be beaten for liquorice either ! they're divine !
Well, I can see why you are a fan of Sanna Annukka! I think you turned me into one!
