DIY Yarn Wrapped Monograms
{image by Evie S.}
The lovely Evie from Evie S. Things of Beauty wrote in a couple days ago, to share this charming DIY Yarn Wrapped Monogram project with us. I love how simple this craft is, and how perfectly it would lend itself to everything from Valentine's Day decor, to a wedding, birthday party, or baby shower. Maybe you could even get miniature with it and create some adorable gift toppers to dress up presents year round. Grab some yarn, an old cardboard cereal box or two and go letter crazy! See the full tutorial over on Evie's blog right here. xo Ez

Love this idea. I love the texture that yarn adds to home decor...it's so warm and cozy. Thanks for sharing!
I loved this when I saw it on Evie's site...now here too. Great feature...simple and beautiful.
this is such a great and simple idea. I think it would look great as a wedding centerpiece table too.
I love how the yarn totally revives the monogram. Very cute!
Would look very sweet in a nursery room.
What a pretty and simple idea! It would look sweet also with ribbon I think...
What an easy, simple and extremely sweet idea. These would really make a lovely gift, or the perfect way to add inexpensive sytle to your room. Thanks so much for sharing your idea with us.
This is such an interesting and unique idea. (And I just now saw you have a DIY section) which I'll probably be lost in for days. Thanks for sharing!

love so much it's ridiculous! xo t
Very cute idea! I just hung up a letter "R" in my daughter Rachael's nursery this weekend, and I thought it looked rather bland. I was going to paint it or stencil it, but then I saw this! I think I am going to try this with pink yarn and see how it comes out.
I love this! I'll be making one for my soon-to-be-born niece as soon as they settle on a name for her!
That is so adorable and would be so easy! Thanks for the idea!
This is such an imaginative idea, and most people would have the materials needed forthis around the home. I am going to try this later- thank you for this x
I am going to try a version of this idea. I bought some medium sized wooden letters, a roll of tie dye yarn and some Modge Podge. I was curious how the yarn would stay on the letter if I didn't wrap it as tight- I hope my idea works!! Modge podge is a clear glue type product so I will paint it on the letter then wrap away- Ill let ya know how it works..
Has anyone tried this idea?
