I Heart This: 03. 12. 10

Hello there lovelies.  Today I thought I'd start a little catalog of things that I'm loving at this moment.  Then I can add to my list or edit it as time goes on.  What things are you hearting today?  xo Ez

Yogurt Parfait  I tend to become obsessed with one particular food item that I eat and eat until I burn out on it for a while.  Currently I am in love with eating this simple little yogurt parfait (I have it for breakfast and lunch).  All it contains is: Dannon All Natural Vanilla Yogurt, thawed Mixed Berries (from the frozen food section at Trader Joe's), and Ginger Almond & Cashew Granola (also from Trader Joe's).  Yummers...and good for you too!

Repurposed Jars  I know it's kind of silly but I really love how useful and charming old jars are when they are used for new purposes.  The one in the photo above is my current favorite.  It looks like a Bonne Maman jar but actually came from a candle (a lot of work went into getting it clean enough to reuse).  Of course old jars also make excellent storage for little odds and ends (especially in a crafting room) and are idea for small little impromptu Springtime bouquets.  Perfect!

Natural Jelly Beans from Whole Foods  These are almost as good as Jelly Belly jelly beans but contain no artificial junk or dyes!  Hurray!  I'm allergic to red dye and generally have a hard time finding fruit flavored sweets without red dye in them.  These are the perfect solution to any sugar crazing that comes on.

LOST - Season I  I just finished watching the first season and really loved it.  There are a few quirks about some of the characters that grate on me a tad (most notably Claire who seems to say the word "baby" - pronounced "bay-bay" when she says it...more than any reasonable human being should).  Overall it is a thoroughly engrossing show to watch though.  I found myself playing one episode, then another...and another still until I finally had to force myself to go to bed.  : )  I'm starting Season II tonight and I can't wait!

EZ,
(may I call you EZ?)
I am so enjoying your blog! & guess what? I live in NJ as well, lucky us huh?
I am the same way with eating something so much until I am tired of it.
I hope that your day is less cloudy than it is outside!

THINGS IM LOVING TODAY:
The weather..sunny 72 degrees, no clouds!
Watching my dogs sniff into the sir when they are outside as the sun gleams onto their faces...& they squint their eyes.
My home office, peaceful & quiet.
The fact it's FRIDAY.... :)

I also tend to fixate on one food item until I'm sick of it - just recently it was Wheat Thins. But I think I'm done now. And yay for LOST - we started watching the most recent episode this afternoon (DVR'd from Tuesday night) but had to go pick up Mark from school and haven't finished it yet.
So today I love:
going to the movies (we're going to see Alice in Wonderland tonight with friends);
movie theater pretzel bites with cheese dip (unfortunately won't get them tonight b/c the theater we're going to doesn't have them);
Fridays at home with no errands to run (I work Mon-Thurs and so LOVE Friday); and
old friends (reconnected this week, sadly enough at a funeral)

so many people get obsessed with some kind of food and eat eat eat eat until they bore it, I do! I don't particularly like yogurt, or berries or granola BUT your photo made me crave it, so I might have to try it!! Thanks for sharing these little beauties. enjoy Lost! you'll love it!

Ooh, you're doing LOST right! By the time you get through the back episodes, this final season will be over and you can just keep going. No breaks, no commercials! Smart! But hold on to your britches, girl, you're in for a WILD ride!!!

And I love old jars too. They're just so charming!

I love old milk bottles (:
I don't think milk was ever sent to the door in bottles at where I'm
from but it's always nice to have old ones from elsewhere ^^
