Chic for Cheap: Multi-use Baby Shower Looks
Hello lovelies! Today's Chic for Cheap challenge comes at the request of readers Emily who is in need of some multi-use outfit ideas for several baby showers she will be attending this coming Spring and Summer. Here's how she describes this challenge: "I need your help for an outfit for a friend's baby shower. I have lots of friends who are expecting so I have lots of showers to attend this spring/summer. Could you give me an outfit idea that could be easily changed to wear to multiple events. All the showers will be with the same group of gals so I don't want to wear the exact same thing but I also have a strict budget in mind. Thank you for whatever help you can give me!"
I decided to pick this comfortable yet sculptural Layered Sleeve T-shirt Dress by Victoria n' Bird as the main piece to carry both of these looks. The dress is such an excellent piece because it can so easily be dressed up or down depending on where you are wearing it. All you need is a few different accessories or pieces from your own wardrobe to finish each look off. Of course these outfits are not just "baby shower" appropriate because you could just as easily wear them for a day of shopping with your girlfriends or for a date night (throw on some hot heels and sparkly accessories to make the dress really pop).
I hope you have a great time at your friends showers Emily! xo Ez

Love the second look!!! So cute & stylish!
Brilliant! From dressy to casual in an instant - and I adore those little floral brooches.
So so cute! I love the little brooches on the dress! I want to go buy that dress right now!! I have a few baby showers to attend too this year so this helps a lot!! And I think since the dress is such a neutral color, it works for a baby boy or girl shower as well!
Great outfits! I love that watch and have been looking for a stylish one for a while now. Should have known Mod Cloth would have something fabulous!
I love Look #2. I feel so vindicated bc I JUST bought the shoes, jeans and necklace. So glad you think they're cool, too!
I LOVE this outfit! LOVE the top with that pin, love the sandals and the flats, the necklace, the vest, clutch and bag! All of it! Whew...
