Mini Obsession: Statement Necklaces

{photo from Dinosaur Designs}

I've been having a bit of an obsession lately with big eye-catching statement necklaces.  I'm especially fond of seeing them paired with a classic tee or tank top and some great shorts, jeans, or other suitably relaxed option.  The perfect juxtaposition!

Below are a few of my current favorite picks in the wallet-friendly price range (most of them are from one source...sorry).

WOW!!! That big glass necklace is awesome! Although my neck is not strong enough for it, but I LOVE it! :)

The necklaces are great! Pade Vavra has some amazing statement necklaces too. I am dying for the Hole in Heart Anti-Gun necklace!

Hi Tiffany. Have you tried your local craft store? I've seen very large beads at my local Michael's. You could string them onto sturdy ribbon or suede cord (also available at craft stores). If that doesn't work you could also try the bargain bin at any big store like Target - they often have chunky jewelry at very reduced prices that you could cut apart and refashion into something new.
Good luck.
