This is so clever! My mom's cousin wrote a book about coffee and used coffee to tint all the photos while they were developing. It's such a wonderful color.

Oh how sublime! And it's funny--even before I read that the painting was done with coffee, I thought 'Oh, it looks like it was made with tea!' Amazing how the beautiful washed out texture comes through even on a computer screen--I can only imagine how stunning it must look in person!

I tried painting with coffee before as an art project, but it eventually got moldy. I wonder how she prevents this from happening to her paintings.

Her paintings are beautiful though, and anything made with coffee is a winner in my book. :)
