GOOP - Nourish the Inner Aspect with Gwyneth Paltrow

This may be old news, but it was new to me when I came across GOOP by Gwyneth Paltrow via the lovely new blog Love. Obsess. Inspire..  I have to admit that I'm totally smitten. Gwyneth writes with a genuine and unpretentious voice that is truly refreshing.  GOOP is all about living a more balance, peaceful, and joyous
life...and is contributed to by a wide variety of experts from stylists
to religious sages, psychologists and more.

I especially love her article on putting together an effortless outfit.  Of course not many of us can afford the pieces used in her ensembles, but the advice is sound, and affordable options could easily be found with a similar effect.  Gwyneth's Simple Style Tips article inspired me to run out and buy a basic black headband and hairpins.  And finally the site design itself is so lovely and fresh...it just makes you want to stick around and delve in.  I can't wait to read all the articles that will be coming in the future. The Goop is wonderful, she also includes a couple Tracy Anderson videos, which for those of you who don't know who Tracy is; she is a work-out god. I have done her videos since December, and my body has completely changed it's smaller and toned. Nothing has ever worked so well for me.

I love (LOVE) the style editions of GOOP, but I have to disagree with your characterization of Gwyneth's voice as unpretentious...there's something a bit condescending in the lifestyle newsletters that gets my goat.

But I, too, really enjoyed the "effortless outfit" edition.
