Chic for Cheap: An Art Inspired Look

Good morning and happy Tuesday everyone!  Don't you just love the perfect casual and effortless outfit?!  I'm always on a mission to wear something simple like this art inspired look, but I'm afraid I resort to my safe jeans and tees far too often.  Time to mix things up just a little bit!  If you could wear any new look, what would it be? Hope your day has started out beautifully!  xox Ez

I love that tunic! I just purchased an amazing pair of jeans from anthro, and I can't stop wearing them right now...so, I understand the jean and tee situation:)

I'm sending this to my sister, she's actually a speech therapist and not an artist, but this is so up her ally, it's almost as if she picked this outfit.I sort of want those sandals, I'm going to try them on next time I'm near an old navy store.

I love the shoes and the pants. If I could wear any look it would be a vintage floral foor length dress with gladiator sandal and braid in my hair, very bohemian. I just can't pull it off tho. Like you said jeans and a t-shirt are to easy!

I love the "look" posted above, Ez. I tend to settle for my comfy jeans/yoga pants and a t-shirt way to often, too.

You create such beautiful collages! Have you ever thought about teaching a photoshop e-course? I'm in line!

I just bought the shirt! FYI, I found a redemption code for 10% off at Ruche (where the shirt is from) - just enter "thelook4less"

That looks so comfy! And that bag looks way pricier than a Forever 21 piece. Time to break out the summer wardrobe!

Oh my! I {adore} this! This is totally the "look" I've found myself going for. I've been having a fashion identity crisis since we arrived in Morocco because of the limitations I have to abide by in order to not be offensive. Think no sleeveless shirts, but shirts must cover the "backside" and pants and skirts have to be longer even in the summer, and hair up. Yikes! The only thing I would have to add to this outfit is maybe a sweater like this one that I bought recently:http://www.promod.fr/pulls/gilet-maille-a-pans-fluides-taupe-R6220062684.html

Anyways! Huge thanks for the links!

I wear jeans and t-shirts every day of my life! I need a makeover so bad. I need to at least get away from my t-shirts a bit. I'm going through all your fashion posts for some ideas. I really like this top. I wonder if it will make me look like a pregnant woman though because of the pleats near the stomach. Hmmm...
