Chic for Cheap: A Wedding Guest

It's time for the latest installment of Chic for Cheap.  This look comes at the request of reader Catherine, who will soon be attending a wedding with some dear old friends.  Here's how Catherine describes this challenge: 

"This spring, I'm getting together with a few "long lost" friends that I haven't seen in ten years.  I've changed a lot since then physically (thanks to my sons and a sedentary lifestyle), but want the confidence that I had back in the day.  We're all meeting up for a wedding, so I need something appropriate for that event but also fun and comfortable with my new body (on the plus size border).  I have been searching, but feel overwhelmed and a little lost.  I'd love to have some input."

I thought I'd try a look with pants, and I love this shirt with its delicate ruffles and wonderful color, and think it looks great paired with these wide-leg trousers and peep-toe pumps.  You don't want to leave your piggies bare with amazing shoes like these, so brush on some pretty polish, put on the earrings, and you're good to go.
