Chic for Cheap: A Child's Busy Birthday Party
After last week's Chic for Cheap Classy Birthday challenge, CC reader Kathy wrote it asking for help with a look for her daughter's upcoming birthday celebration. Here's how she describes her needs:
"How timely! I'm also about to celebrate my daughter's first birthday in 2 weeks. I need some outfit inspiration in spring colors (think pinks, yellows, white, etc.) that are "running-after-child-and-managing-101-things-at-the-same-time" friendly?"
This sweet pink top was the launching place for this simple yet pulled-together look. Flats and jeans are a must (at least for me) if I'm going to be chasing after 1 year-olds, juggling cupcakes and more. With a cute updo, some smokey eye makeup, and a pair of heels you could easily wear this out for a date night as well!
Have a wonderful birthday party with your little one Kathy! xox Ez

The earring are gorgeous and those shoes are just too cute :)
The earrings are so beautiful & dainty and the flats are just delicious. I think you've revived my love for ballet flats right here.
I'm up to my ears with birthday preps right now but I'll will be sharing those party pictures with you soon!
