I watching 500 days of summer tonight!:)but isn't the chalk residue make lots and lots of dust all around? :S that's my only concern!(i haven't seen the one you mention yet though so i might change my mind!)

Beautiful post. I have a chalkboard wall in my kitchen and I love it so much. I'll be moving soon, and I'm going to have to paint over it. Over the years all of our friends have contributed thoughts, signatures, and art to the wall - what a loss it will be.
