One Good Thing

I spotted these adorable Hand Foil-Printed Plant Labels over on Laissezfaire blog the other day and I love them.  Instead of using them for plant markers though, I think I'd turn them into sweet little gift tags for the Holidays - writing the name of the gift recipient onto the tag.  Cute right?! Find them at Modern Gardener.

SO cute and such a great idea! I would hate to put them outside and have them fade in the sun! They are adorable!xoMelis

Oooh, I love these! They would look so sweet in my orchid pots (I think I'm up to 11? 12? orchids)

They would also make great bookmarks.

Agreed, quite cute and almost to cute to stick in dirt. I like you're idea to use them as gift tags. They'd also make cute bookmarks. Great find!

So cute...love the gift tag idea! I'm thinking of using them as place cards in little pots. What do you think?

Those are just too cute! If you were to use them for gift tags for holiday presents, how would you place them on the gift?

That's a great question Stacy! I think that I would either try to secure it under a very snug ribbon tied around the gift, or put a little piece of double sided tape on the backside and stick it on that way. If anyone else has any ideas, please share them with us!xoxEz

So sweet! It's a little late for this year, but these would be wonderful in spring when I'm starting those plants indoors (as one must do in Michigan!).

Very cute indeed. Only problem, wooden sticks (like those on pop sickles) give me the heebie jeebies like nails down a chalkboard. Ouch.

Brilliant idea - and I agree I'd use them other than in the garden. Perhaps nametags at a dinner party?
