Chic for Cheap: Aviator Winging Ceremony

Melissa and I have been having such a fun time with our chic for cheap outfits each week... and love the challenges you've been writing in with.  This week we had a tough one (for me at least - Please promise that you will ignore the fact that almost every outfit I ever create has blue in it).  Reader, Natalie's husband is a Marine Corps aviator and will be getting his wings in a ceremony next month.  Here's how Natalie describes the specifics of the look she needs, "It needs to be fairly modest (no excessive cleavage) and not
formal/cocktail but not casual... it can be creative and cute and
stylish. Also, we live in Florida so it will be in the seventies still
at that time."

So what do you think everyone?  Can you help Natalie out?  If you want to put together an outfit (using Polyvore or your own software) we would love to see your results (please leave a link to your set in the comment section).

Love that blue dress. But I just can't buy any more silk dresses - my wardrobe is full of them and they cost me a fortune to dry clean.

Wow! Thanks, Ez! I love the look! I'm having a hard time choosing between yours and Melissa's. Maybe I'll get both and decide the morning of the winging. You guys are the best! And you can never post too many blue outfits for me. :)

Oh My Gosh!!! I just blogged that exact dress on the 19th because I don't know what shoes to wear with it. I bought the dress a couple months ago - pre sale price, boo hoo - and haven't worn it yet b/c I'm having a shoe crisis. I love your choice of black shoe!!!
