le rose a coloré la vie

I absolutely love the rosy colors of this vintage children's book illustration from 1977... (discoverd on Meedchen's Flickr album)... and these oh so perfect Gia Flats by Calvin Klein, at Shoes.com.

A friendly French lesson. When you speak about the color and omitting the word couleur, you must say le rose. La rose means the flower. Buy you must say la couleur rose. Oh! Feel free to correct my English writings.
