Today I Love: Little Flowers on my Desk

It's been so exciting to see you all joining and contributing to the Creatures of Comfort group on flickr!  Thank you for being a part of such a fun new space!  I can't wait to see where we will go with it!
A new discussion that I started today in the group is titled Today I Love:_____.  Each day I hope that those of you who are members (you only have to have a free flickr account to join), will add a new thing that you love (it can be an actual thing, a memory, a feeling...whatever you like).

For me... the thing I am loving today is the little jam jar of pink roses that I picked off of our climbing rose bush today (not the jar, the roses).  The smell is amazing and it really perks up my desk and makes me feel inspired.  What are you loving today?  I'd love for you to share it in the group, or here if you prefer.  xox Ez

So inspiring! It makes me want to get some roses. My son's daycare lady has lots of them!! maybe I'll ask for some... I'm sure that will not make my desk look like your wonderful arrangement but it'll give some inspiration!! Thanks so much!

Today I love - my daily commute. I just started a temp job - and I get to take the train to work. This is making an amazing difference to my life as I don't have to go on the London Underground - which is an all-round hideous experience in rush hour (and I'm very claustrophobic.) Then, I get to walk over the river every morning, past a juggler, some outside street art - and it is just such a joy. I'm also thankful for a 9.30 start (that extra half hour makes all the difference.) Sorry - that was a bit of a rant!

I love your little nest with the robin's egg blue eggs! Did you make that? Where did you find the eggs? I am getting ready to "embellish" a bird cage that I found at an antique store and have purchased a little stone bird and nest, but have not been able to find eggs.
