This is just a small little post... but I had to share the fabulousness of this adorable felted birdhouse from Serendipity (found via Decocentric - which is rapidly becoming one of my favorite blogs).
Isn't it sweet?!... and it's something that you could easily make on your own. A perfect project for a dreary rainy day like we're having 'round these parts.
The inspiration doesn't have to stop at birdhouses either. Think of other creative applications. For instance I'm thinking of making a cuckoo clock with a real working clock mechanism (found in craft stores). Or you could make a felt teacup with appliquéd roses adorning it, and use it on your kitchen counter as an adorable holder for your sugar packets.
