Free Printable 2011 Calendar
Hi sweets! One of the many resolutions I made for myself this new year is to spend more time creating art (not just looking at it online). I don't really consider myself to be an "artist" in the traditional sense of the word, but I do love it whenever I set the time aside to work on it (which is hardly ever I'm afraid - hence the resolution).
In any event, I brought a giant pad of paper and watercolors to my parent's house on New Year's Eve (I know, I'm a total party animal) and spent several blissful hours painting all sorts of naturey-themed doodles, which I then decided to use to make a printable calendar for you all. I designed it so that each month's image can be repurposed as postcards or note flats once the month has passed (just cut out, address, stamp the back, and you're done). That way if one of your resolutions is also to send more snail mail to friends and family, you're all set (and you have all month to decide who to send it to).
- Download free calendar here. Please note that this is a large file size and may take a while to download.
Once printed onto heavy-weight paper, cut out along dashed border. I've included a small mark if you'd like to punch a hole for hanging with a piece of pretty ribbon or twine. If not, you can easily hang your calendar using a small binder clip (like I did here).
For non-commercial use only please. Alteration of the file does not void the copyright. The PDF file is not intended to be hosted on your own site - please link to this post for the download. Please feel free to print out copies to share with your friends and family, and of course a little shout-out for my blog is always very much appreciated too! Enjoy! xo Ez

LOVE! thanks for sharing!!
How cool! I love this! So this may be a very simple questions, but I'd like to ask anyway. How do you make your paintings look so clean in the file? Do you just scan them in and clean them up a bit in photoshop or do you completely recreate them in photoshop or illustrator? Does my question even make sense?
Thank you, it's so pretty.
This is lovely, I am so glad I read your blog today and found this because it is so original and so "you". I will definitely download this and use it in my office, for sure.
I'm not sure if you were fishing for complements or if you truly think you are NOT an artist (ha ha) but Ez, don't get too obsessed with titles and labels and what we are, what we are not, etc. You have created something from your heart, of your own design, so therefore it is art.
Wiktionary defines the noun 'artist' (Singular: artist; Plural: artists) as follows:
1. A person who creates art.
2. A person who creates art as an occupation.
3. A person who is skilled at some activity.
GREAT job, Ez!

This speaks to me in every single way. I love it all. Loading paper to print out this lovely calendar!
Great new year's resolution put to pratice!! You are an awesome artist, extremely talented and creative! Congratulations and thanks for generously offering your art to the world... all the best!
Gorgeous!!!! You are so talented!!! xo
How LOVELY! I'm off too the craft shop for some cardstock right now. It's been a while since I clicked through to your site and it is also looking quite lovely. Just another reason why I follow your blog. Thank you for the calendar! Happy new year.
Thank you again so much everyone for all of your lovely comments! You all have made my day!
@ Rachel - That is a great question! After painting the images I scanned them and then erased the white background from each with photoshop (my scanner turned them a not so pretty off-white color). Other than the dandelion image (I added the puff around the flower) I didn't use photoshop to edit any of the actual images.
