Giveaway Time: Eco Deco Kit from Polli

Hello bloggy friends. It's been quite a while since I've run a giveaway here on Creature Comfort so today I thought it would be fun to welcome the changing season with a special giveaway contest for these wonderful Eco-Deco Kits from Australia-based company Polli. The eco-conscious garland kits are available in three colors (red, yellow, and sky blue) and include 30 cut-out shapes and almost 20 feet of red twine (the image above shows all three colors available - kits are sold as individual colors). I love the sweet bird and branch theme and think these would be perfect for holiday decorating. They are reusable and can be utilized for more than just the holidays — repurpose them year round to dress up a party, dangle them individually from a chandelier for an unexpected twist, or hang in your bedroom as a fun decor element. So fun!

Of course you want to win one, right! The contest is open to everyone worldwide. Here's how you can be entered to win:

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.

Rules for Entry (PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE ENTERING) - Contest ends Thursday, October 7th:

  • Visit the Polli website to view the three available garlands (the first three shown when you follow the link) and decide which you'd like to win (you can win it for yourself or someone you adore).  Then for your entry, come back here and tell me which one you've chosen and where you will hang it (or who you will gift it to) if you win.
  • BONUS ENTRY is available if you blog or tweet about this giveaway with a link back to this post.  Be sure to leave your regular entry comment PLUS a second comment with the link to your post or caption of your tweet (including your twitter username).
  • All entrants, please be sure to include your first name AND last initial plus a VALID email address when commenting or I will not be able to include you in the final drawing when selecting the winner.
  • One comment per reader unless you have been given a second entry by posting about this contest. (I do use IP tracking to keep things fair).
  • Contest open to everyone - US and International entrants welcomed.
  • Giveaway applies to the Eco Deco Kit in red, yellow, or blue and does not apply to other Polli merchandise.
  • This contest will end Thursday, October 7th and the winner will be announced here on Friday, October 8th.

Best of luck to you all and a big thanks to Polli for providing such a fun prize for you to win!  xo Ez

I love the red one ... much as I would love to have it myself, I would probably gift it to my sister who has just built a house and has many blank walls at the moment. I'm sure one of them would be perfect for this garland!

The Sky Blue kit is just gorgeous.I'd love it as a decoration for my daughters wedding celebrations. One of the events is the traditional mehndi afternoon, when designs are painstakingly drawn, with a paste made of leaves, on the hands and feet to "beautify" the bride. This will be held at home which I will decorate to represent a bower with fresh flowers, ivy leaves and sky blue tulle drapes. I can't think of a better focal point than the Eco-deco garland at the centre of the bower.

I teach an ESL beginner science class, and I am struggling with the kids because they don't seem to be motivated to speak and write and learn English. Today I spent all class with them, talking about their fears, and their desires, their memories and wishes. I asked them if they wanted to go back to their home countries, and most, suprisingly, said no. When I asked them if they were afraid to lose their culture, they said that was what they were afraid of. Immediately upon logging on to your site, I saw these garlands and thought, Christmas! Today, when I asked the kids what they missed about their home countries the most, they said traditions that had to do with La Navidad (mine are all Spanish speakers). I think that I could use this garland in class, in gold, to show the students another way to celebrate Christmas in a new country, with a new culture that is scary and foreign to them. Thank you so much for having your site: it is truly beautiful. - P
