I recently discovered Ella Bailey Illustration on Pinterest via this pin (isn't that just the cutest thing), and quickly fell in love with her charming style. I wasn't able to locate a shop of any kind, but here's hoping she considers opening one soon. I'd love to have a handful of her work to display around our home. Pinterest Picks: Inspired by Springtime

Last week we were blanketed with an unexpected snowstorm here in Oklahoma, and now another winter storm is passing through. Unfortunately this little show from Mother Nature has delayed our moving truck, but with any luck my daughter and I will be starting the long drive for our move out West within the next day or two. As we leave the area you can bet that I'm going to be keeping my eyes peeled for every single sign that Spring is on its way. It can't arrive soon enough! California and your promise of seventy degrees and sunny...we can hardly wait to see you!

Pinterest Pros: Set No.12

Happy Friday friends! Do you have a relaxing weekend ahead of you? If so, I will be living vicariously through you, because ready or not, our moving truck arrives bright and early on Monday! I'm pretty sure my weekend will consist of two things: 

1. A mad scramble to toss all of our remaining belongings into boxes and clean our house top to bottom so that we can leave for our long drive first thing the following morning. BTW, I'm planning to share all the moving/cleaning tips and tricks that worked and didn't after my move...so stay tuned for that if you're interested.
2. And then, if I manage to get through item no.1...I'll be putting together a few posts to keep things alive here on Creature Comforts while we make the long drive to our new home (it will take us 3 days). If I'd had more than a couple weeks to pack our lives up here, I definitely would have planned to have a few guests stop by to keep you on your toes...but alas, time was not on my side. So, I thank you all again for your patience. You guys truly are the best! I'm hoping to have everything back to normal within a week or two. Fingers crossed that they can get our internet up and running as soon as we move in!
