Hi guys! It's been a tricky week...thanks for all of your encouragement yesterday. I'm excited for the weekend and the simple little pleasures that I'm hoping to take full advantage of. Here's what I have planned / am looking forward to:
- Paging through, and finding inspiration in the new Madewell catalog. Lots of good stuff in there!
- Taking my brother and daughter to see the Hunger Games movie (finally - I'm so excited)
- I just added a new gallery here on Creature Comforts, that visually catalogs all my recipe and food posts in one place. It can also be found in the drop down menu up above, under Projects & Inspiration (in case you're looking for it again sometime).
- I discovered Odosketch via Terry Runyan on flickr, and my daughter and I have been having a lot of fun with it. It's so much trickier to use than I first thought it would be, but the results are really nice. If you're looking for a little carefree fun online, I highly recommend it. Here's a little honeybear that I made last night.
- I discovered the old horse snapshot (in the picture above) at a flea market years ago, fell in love with it instantly, and have been looking for it ever since. Now that I finally found it (hooray) I am excited to dream up a lovely way to use it. Any ideas?
- Also...if you're interested, I was interviewed for the HP blog about how to use Pinterest to help build your brand. I actually had a lot of fun chatting with Patrick (my interviewer), and hopefully had at least a few helpful things to share.
