You might remember my post from almost a year ago when I first discovered Izze (sparkling juice). I loved it then...and I love it still (the Sparkling Blackberry flavor being my favorite). The team at Izze recently caught wind of my love-affair and asked if I'd like to try out their newest flavor: Izze-esque Sparkling Watermelon. I really couldn't say no to that, so they shipped me a sample.
The bottle of deliciousness was just begging to be opened immediately, but I decided to torture myself before tasting it with a little photo shoot (you know how I secretly love that stuff). By the way, in case you are wondering...the paper straws totally float in soda (not good). I had to rig them with some carefully bent pieces of wire inside to get them to stay down in the glass (I think you can see it a little bit in the last shot). I would love to know how real photo stylists make it look so easy!
When I finally cracked the bottle open I was pleasantly surprised. I already find Izze to be light and not too sweet, but their Esque line is even lighter. I think I might just have to convert to the "esque" flavors as they boast fewer calories (I love that they don't add artificial sweetener to achieve this), and that jives well with my current health and fitness plan (and from what I can tell, they taste just as yummy).
Psst...full disclosure: Izze did send me a free sample, but they didn't pay or pull my hair to get me to say anything nice about it.
